Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design studio the all-new Custom Line 106 planning superyacht made its début at the 2019 Venice Boat Show in true superyacht style this year. So the WSB team gladly took a closer look at the new CL 106 arrival.
Pershing yachts continue to push boundaries in yacht design. Like its predecessor 9X, the all-new 8X is made of the same material that the most advanced nautical craft are made of; carbon fibre. This material not only means lighter weight, greater speed, and lower fuel consumption but also more volume due to the ability to design larger, more comfortable spaces. The on-board comfort is extraordinary, thanks to the many benefits offered by the new system that integrates propulsion control with the manoeuvring, navigation, and monitoring systems. With the new 8X, “piloting” a Pershing, even at high speeds and without the support of the captain, is fun and accessible for all would-be owners. The WSB team take a closer look at the 8x high tech craft.

Bennetti has been a pioneer luxury yacht builder since 1873 with some of the world’s most exclusive yacht designs afloat today. That said, our focus here is on 3 mega yachts code-named FB272, FB275 and FB277, all 3 over 100m in length and dubbed the 3 Giga yachts by the shipyard. FB272 is our story today, which demonstrates the huge scope of imagination and build capacity at the Italian shipyard. She features an advanced Lutron domotic system – approximately 500 kilometres of the cable run across her hull and superstructure, providing masses of connection with the outside world: including the huge windows 3 meters in height and the outstanding surface area of 800 square meters of window glass.
On the back of the success of the Atlantis 51, Azimut is due to premier the widely acclaimed Atlantis 45 the successor to the Atlantis 43, a very popular sports cruiser that sold over 140 yachts in four years. The new 45 takes winning features from the 43 such as the Volvo IPS propulsion and takes successful design cues introduced by the Atlantis 51: the upper part of the stem rises vertically, partially stretching forward to boost the dynamics of a boat with a strong sporty character, while its hull windows stretch along the entire side, bringing out the sharpness of this yacht’s contours and its sporty look. Can the new 45 top the record held by the 43? Let’s take a closer look.
