On the back of the success of the Atlantis 51, Azimut is due to premier the widely acclaimed Atlantis 45 the successor to the Atlantis 43, a very popular sports cruiser that sold over 140 yachts in four years. The new 45 takes winning features from the 43 such as the Volvo IPS propulsion and takes successful design cues introduced by the Atlantis 51: the upper part of the stem rises vertically, partially stretching forward to boost the dynamics of a boat with a strong sporty character, while its hull windows stretch along the entire side, bringing out the sharpness of this yacht’s contours and its sporty look. Following the successful launch of the Solaris Power 55′, with several boats already sold before the official presentation planned at the Cannes Boat Show next September, Solaris Power keeps on redefining the concept of the traditional American lobster boats, and introduces the new OPEN 48-footer, as the second model in the range – which will be available in Hard Top and Flying bridge versions.

Otam’s latest fast planing yacht, the 26 metre Otam 85GTS, has reached the halfway point in construction. The Italian yard revealed that the hull and deck had been assembled and MTU 16v M 94 engines installed. The yacht’s electrical and hydraulic systems are in progress while work is also well underway on the interior manufacturing. Manufacturing has also begun on the yacht’s custom hardtop. The yard revealed it had constructed a 1:1 mock-up of the structure and curved windscreen that will be used to create the mould.
The Azimut Yachts Flybridge range is now joined by the new Azimut 78 flagship, the latest example of Azimut Yachts’ Carbon-Tech generation sports yachts and the first Flybridge to be fitted with three Volvo IPS propulsion units. The exterior lines are by Alberto Mancini, while the interior design is a product of the skilled hands of Achille Salvagni.
Benetti continues its successful Fast production line with two more yacht launches in Q2. BF207, the seventh unit of Fast 140, was launched in Viareggio and also in Viareggio, the BF107, seventh Fast 125, was delivered. The popular Fast models are earning great interest in the market, distinguished by their special D2P_Displacement to Planing® hull and sleek exteriors, designed by Stefano Righini with interiors designed by the British studio RWD.
The new Sport Coupé 56 from Rio Yachts, designed by Marino Alfani, is the largest of RIO Yachts sports coupe models. Contemporary sporty styling embracing streamlined exteriors are matched by clean and thoughtful well-defined interior. The light-filled spaces give the impression of open cruising on a larger vessel, not least because of the decision to use light-hued colourways. The sophisticated original inserts made from solid teak and steel that adorn and enrich the decor are distinctive style traits in Marino Alfani’s work. 2019 has marked a new era for the Fairline Squadron range. The 65-foot Squadron ends its 10-year production run to make way for a new larger Squadron model, which is already under construction at the recently opened production facility in Hythe, Southampton. A total of 80 Squadron 65’s have been built since the yacht’s launch in 2009 and the last ever Squadron 65 has now left the Ipswich commissioning facility, making way for the all-new Squadron 68.
