As 2020 fast approaches, Cranchi Yachts is preparing to celebrate 150 years of its history. This is an extraordinary achievement by any company in any industry and gives Cranchi huge accolade to their celebrations starting in January of 2020. To mark this celebration Cranchi Yachts has planned the worldwide premiere of its new flagship, the Cranchi 78 Settantotto at the Boot Düsseldorf. The 78 Settantotto has a huge spotlight of occasion set upon it, so what can we expect from the new Cranchi flagship?
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design studio the all-new Custom Line 106 planning superyacht made its début at the 2019 Venice Boat Show in true superyacht style this year. The 106 showcases a different view on custom yachting with absolute brilliance. It boasts many factors of design excellence and innovation distinction, however, you are immediately caught by its unmistakable Italian design lines, followed quickly by its arrangement of masses of well-proportioned live abord space. UK boatbuilder Pearl Yachts are set to be the stars of the French Riviera at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival 2019 from 10th to 15th September. Pearl Yachts intent to make a statement in displaying their largest flagship models Pearl 80 and the Pearl 95, measuring 29.2 metres, the Pearl 95 is the largest model in the Pearl Yachts line-up and made its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018. Recognised for her opulent, yet simple interior design by Kelly Hoppen, this year, the Pearl 95 gets to Cannes as multiple awards winner: best interior, best layout, overall innovation.
Bennetti has been a pioneer luxury yacht builder since 1873 with some of the world’s most exclusive yacht designs afloat today. That said, our focus here is on 3 mega yachts code-named FB272, FB275 and FB277, all 3 over 100m in length and dubbed the 3 Giga yachts by the shipyard. FB272 is our story today, which demonstrates the huge scope of imagination and build capacity at the Italian shipyard. She features an advanced Lutron domotic system – approximately 500 kilometres of the cable run across her hull and superstructure, providing masses of connection with the outside world: including the huge windows 3 meters in height and the outstanding surface area of 800 square meters of window glass.
Otam’s latest fast planing yacht, the 26 metre Otam 85GTS, has reached the halfway point in construction. The Italian yard revealed that the hull and deck had been assembled and MTU 16v M 94 engines installed. The yacht’s electrical and hydraulic systems are in progress while work is also well underway on the interior manufacturing. Manufacturing has also begun on the yacht’s custom hardtop. The yard revealed it had constructed a 1:1 mock-up of the structure and curved windscreen that will be used to create the mould.
Benetti continues its successful Fast production line with two more yacht launches in Q2. BF207, the seventh unit of Fast 140, was launched in Viareggio and also in Viareggio, the BF107, seventh Fast 125, was delivered. The popular Fast models are earning great interest in the market, distinguished by their special D2P_Displacement to Planing® hull and sleek exteriors, designed by Stefano Righini with interiors designed by the British studio RWD.
The Numarine 78 HTS world debut at the 2019 Palm Beach International Boat Show gave a much-deserved spotlight to the newest member of Numarine’s stable. The debut yacht named “Adonis” is equipped with the ultimate smart technology and assisted by virtual concierge “Angel.” Numarine developed the 78 HTS yacht in collaboration with Furrion Numarine at the Turkish boat building shipyard which continues its impressive expansion.
