In the new Class 1 Offshore Power Boat season in Abu Dhabi, Arif Al Zafeen and Nadir bin Hendi won the race in an impressive performance, with Spirit of Qatar 96 and 95 coming in second and third. The 2010 season ends in Dubai with Fazza crowned world champions at 170mph

Arif Al Zafeen and Nader Bin Hendi secured their ninth win of the season at the Emirates/Dubai Duty-Free Dubai Grand Prix, dedicating the victory to their late teammates. The victory also clinched the Middle East Class 1 Championship for Fazza, adding to their World and European crowns. They finished the race at an average speed of 178.38kmph.

Class act from Class 1 offshore Victory team

Dubai’s Victory Team dominated the BMW Norwegian Grand Prix race 2, with Fazza 3 taking first place and extending their points lead. Spirit of Dubai finished second, while Fazza 1 came in third after a dramatic start. The defending World Champions, Arif Al Zafeen and Nadir Bin Hendi, secured their eighth consecutive win. Notably, Giovanni Carpitella and Giorgio Manuzzi rounded off their impressive weekend with a third podium in Spirit of Dubai. Jorn Tandberg and Kolbjorn Selmer faced disappointment when a broken rudder ended their race, and other teams also encountered technical issues.
