2019 has marked a new era for the Fairline Squadron range. The 65-foot Squadron ends its 10-year production run to make way for a new larger Squadron model, which is already under construction at the recently opened production facility in Hythe, Southampton. A total of 80 Squadron 65’s have been built since the yacht’s launch in 2009 and the last ever Squadron 65 has now left the Ipswich commissioning facility, making way for the all-new Squadron 68. This year’s London Boat Show will see Fairline announce ambitious plans for new product development, as it unveils three exciting new additions to the range – the first of eight new models to be launched over the next three years. The first of these new additions is the new Shadow S, which will be revealed to the boating public for the very first time at the show. Details of this exciting new model are being kept closely under wraps until the Fairline Press Conference on the first day of the show.
British boat builder Fairline Yachts will launch a new Targa 48 Open this summer – with a substantial number of forward orders already received. Luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Boats is adding an exciting new model to its Targa express cruiser range with the Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO, which will be making her world launch at the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show 2010. The new Targa 44 Open, which is being introduced alongside the latest Targa 44 GRAN TURISMO model, will also be launched at the Show.
Fairline Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO
The magnificent Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO is a spacious three cabin, three en-suite express cruiser with an optional fourth/crew cabin and en-suite. A truly forward-thinking design with light and space at its core, the Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO will encompass key design trends and technological features to offer bright, open and light filled accommodation.
The twin cabin, twin en-suite Targa 44 Open offers an even larger cockpit seating area than previously seen on the Targa 44 GRAN TURISMO model to allow even more sociable entertaining and reflects Fairline’s ongoing trend towards large, open cockpits. Volvo stern drive engines power the new version and an optional Sterndrive Joystick system will be available for IPS manoeuvring functionality.
Visitors to the Fairline stand will also be able to view the latest Targa 44 GRAN TURISMO. This hard-top express cruiser model has been revised to reflect the latest Targa 44 design and includes the new cockpit layout. The model will now be powered with Volvo stern drive engines in line with the other models in the Targa range.
A selection of other models from the Fairline range will be on display at the Show, including the entry-level Targa 38, Targa 47 GRAN TURISMO, Phantom 48, Squadron 55, the recently launched Squadron 65, and the flagship Squadron 78 CUSTOM.
