A salute to new Absolute 62 Fly

The Absolute 62 Flybridge, saw its debut launch at the beginning of 2019 at Boot Dusseldorf for Europe, and again at Miami boat show for the Americas. Both occasions attracted strong interest in the new Italian arrival from Absolute. The 62 flybridge embodies many of the design attributes and features from the 58 Flybridge, setting a new design direction that is sure to spread across the Absolute Flybridge range.

The 62 Flybridge is packed with a passion for quality materials dressed into well thought out spaces. The three wide cabin layout ensures each cabin has a private toilet and shower ensuite facility that boasts generous space for the occupants. A fourth cabin spec can be equipped with twin beds as a crew set up or an additional guests cabin.

The inner spaces are optimized in every detail, offering absolute comfort, which characterizes also the main deck, thanks to the galley – finely refined and furnished – at the entrance of the salon, studied to offer the unique “en plein air” perception, granted by the Absolute new styling design.

The Volvo Penta IPS-950 D11 engines, with tractor propellers, provide a well-balanced measure of comfort, consumption, and manoeuvrability. The performance of the 62 Flybridge isn’t bad either, with the D11 set up pushing it past the 25 knots cruising speed and onto a respectable 32 knots top speed.

Absolute has taken the Flybridge range in a positive and exciting direction led by the 58 and now with the 62. Momentum to update further Flybridge members of the range is sure to follow. Maybe there is also a great opportunity for Absolute to expand this design trend into their sports yacht and sports line range, where a wider market segment appeal could add lower entry points to the Absolute brand. Time will tell!
