Another grand entrance from two new models from Grand Banks the 46 Eastbay FB and 76 Aleutian RP
January 10, 2012Grand Banks Yachts have unveiled two new models: the 46 Eastbay FB, a flybridge version of its Zeus-powered Down East cruiser, and the 76 Aleutian RP, set to be the largest and most luxurious motor yacht in the company’s growing lineup. The 76RP features the same proven Tom Fexas hull design and timeless exterior styling shared by other yachts in the raised-pilothouse Aleutian Series. But this newest model also introduces a brand new interior design that is more contemporary and European in flavor than any of its predecessors.

Enter the dragon from Brazil, in the form of the new Intermarine 42
October 31, 2011Introducing the smallest of the Brazilian built Intermarine range, the all new Intermarine 42. Its been a very busy and aggressive year of growth for Intermarine and this looks to continue well into 2012. The 42 exterior was designed by the Miami and Viareggio based studio Luiz de Basto Designs, while the interior was projected by the interior designer Karol de Paula.

Inter Milan recruits a new Brazilian star and welcomes the new Intermarine 75
September 7, 2011For over 10 years the traditional Brazilian shipyard Intermarine associated its brand to an international group building its models by license. Due to the substantial changes that occurred on the market after 2008, the partnership became untenable. Therefore Intermarine came back to its origins and started the development of a totally new and own product range.

She comes with a convertible top that provides complete coverage of the fly deck taking in to account not to spoil your experience within the jacuzzi and the entertaining space aft.
The classic Italian verve for creating beautiful places to be is clearly illustrated in the main lounge area, consisting of elegant wood floors and leather couches. An array of electronic systems and interior materials are available to customers wishing to individualise their yacht.
This example of one of the en-suite guest rooms provides an insight to the clean cut lines on board the Azimut, warm and inviting with a functional feel that would have you believing you’re within the walls of a 5 star hotel room but for the port holes on the wall rather than a conventional window.
The cross sections show a well engineered and thought out 3 deck design, customers have the choice of 3 layouts and countless ways in which to style the inside to individuals tastes.
The Azimut 116 is powered by twin MTU V16 2000 M93’s producing 2434 mHP, allowing her to cruise comfortably at 24 knots (half load) and go onto a top speed of 28 knots (half load). Impressive for 35.46 meter yacht with 7.40 meter beam and at full load she has a displacement of 143 tons.
The Azimut 116 is a shining example of the Italian boat designers vision of luxury on the water, she is a serious contender in the lower end super yacht market amongst some strong competition.
