The grandest motor yacht built by iconic US boatbuilder Grand Banks is set to join the range line up very soon. The GB85 will take on design features from the recently released GB60, and offer the option of a flybridge or a climate-controlled sky lounge. A 22-foot beam ensures huge versatility for lavish entertaining or relaxing at sea with friends and guest, but what else can you expect from the new arrival, well the WSB team take a closer look at the soon to be crowned GB85 flagship to see what’s what.
F5X (the name hasn’t been finalised yet and nor has the length, which will be between 52 and 56 feet) is the new Flybridge yacht that will soon be distributed by Intech Boating, the Sessa dealer based in Palhoça in the Brazilian State of Santa Caterina. Davide Cipriani’s Centrostiledesign looked after all the design work, from the hull and exteriors to the interior decoration. Beauty, attention to detail, style and cutting-edge technology are the key drivers of this project, which will probably be available early in 2020.
The new Sealine S330v all outboard powered sports cruiser has made some lasting waves. the S330V takes design cues from the celebrated Sealine S330. Exciting performance is delivered by two powerful large Hp outboard engines. The excellent response characteristics and steering precision of the outboards tempt you to push the S330v into more spontaneous driving manoeuvres completing an exciting yet different cruiser experience.
The new Sport Coupé 56 from Rio Yachts, designed by Marino Alfani, is the largest of RIO Yachts sports coupe models. Contemporary sporty styling embracing streamlined exteriors are matched by clean and thoughtful well-defined interior. The light-filled spaces give the impression of open cruising on a larger vessel, not least because of the decision to use light-hued colourways. The sophisticated original inserts made from solid teak and steel that adorn and enrich the decor are distinctive style traits in Marino Alfani’s work. Palm Beach started the 2019 season under a wave of new creative enthusiasm for a new line of yachts, branded as the GT series. 2019 has marked a new era for the Fairline Squadron range. The 65-foot Squadron ends its 10-year production run to make way for a new larger Squadron model, which is already under construction at the recently opened production facility in Hythe, Southampton. A total of 80 Squadron 65’s have been built since the yacht’s launch in 2009 and the last ever Squadron 65 has now left the Ipswich commissioning facility, making way for the all-new Squadron 68. The Azimut S10, the new S Collection flagship, is the result of collaboration with designer Alberto Mancini, working for the first time with the Avigliana-based shipyard. A unique yacht, it is sporty but has impeccable class, skilfully bringing together in 28 metres of length the elegance of a sports yacht, the architecture of a modern villa on the sea and, not least, the charismatic personality of automotive design. Sporty and sleek, the 74 Sport Yacht, with 38-knot capability, boasts the latest Sunseeker design cues and sporting prowess as the recently launched Predator 74. However, while maintaining her dynamic look, the in-house design team at Sunseeker has created the 74 Sport Yacht with an exceptional flybridge – almost unperceivable within her profile lines.
