Azimut strive every year to produce class leading models that continue to break the mould. The desire for balance between the elegance of the external lines and the need to build structures suitable for extending total comfort to the owner and their guests, has produced the Azimut 54. This sports cruiser offers both the harmony of contemporary lines, in keeping with the Azimut family-focused designs, as well as the the most highly advanced technological solutions. We at WSB take a closer look at the new arrival to the Azimut Flybridge range.
Revolutionary construction methods are at the heart of the 54. Internal bulkheads are installed when the boat is still in shell-form, a solution that makes it possible to maximise on every centimetre of the hull. The squared bow not only allows more internal volume, but also protects the deck and sun-pad from sea-spray whilst cruising.
The 54 has a class leading surface area of 14 square metres, with the Flybridge being one of the largest in its category, couple these together and the 54 offers unique solutions, such as the dual sunbathing area, complete bar unit and dinette for 6-8 persons. In addition the 54 can also be fitted with a retractable Hard Top integrated
within the structure to create areas of shade and protection on the more challenging cruises.
The 54 also has a neat trick up its sleeve with the tender launching system, it can launch tenders up to 3,25m making it possible to enjoy the pleasures personal watercraft fun, the bathing platform also offers simplicity when lowered, allowing comfortable climb aboard facilities after a dive or at the end of a swim.
The well equipped salon is designed into functional areas: the kitchen, fully equipped with a 220 litre fridge, complete with a peninsula that includes a handrail to ensure safety during navigation. The dining area can easily accommodate 6 in style before settling down in the relaxing luxurious surrounds of the living lounge area next to the double sliding doors.
The design, the comfort, the volume space and sunbathing areas are strong reasons to choose an Azimut 54. In addition, the technology installed increases the pleasure of life on board, with useful instruments such as Easy Docking- the joystick that makes docking simple even when faced with strong winds and currents. The helm can reduce the boat’s rolling by up to 80%, even while at sea.
Azimut have continued to strengthen their ranges embracing consistency and simplicity both of which you will find when you step on-board the Azimut 54.
