    Onassis' legendary 99 metre yacht Christina O was originally built as the Canadian naval frigate Stormont. After the end of the Second World War, Greek shipowner Aristotle Onassis purchased her for just $34,000, and converted her into a yacht at the HDW shipyard in Kiel. She was sold in 1998 to a family friend of Onassis
  • The 2011 Diana designed superyacht Pamela V February 16, 2012
    The 44.90 metre Pamela V was launched in Holland on May 21st. The exterior lines and the naval architecture of the superyacht are by the Dutch based design company Diana Yacht Design, and she features an interior of designed by Paris based interior designer Jacques Grange. She accommodates 10 guests in 5 staterooms
  • The Royal Huisman sailing yacht Hyperion off Mallorca February 15, 2012
    Hyperion was built by Royal Huisman for well known yachtsman Jim Clark. When he took delivery of the 90 metre Royal Huisman Athena in 2004 he sold Hyperion. The 45 metre yacht was designed by German Frers and Pieter Beeldsnijder, who was also responsible for her interior. Hyperion is dedicated to fast sailing and relaxation – in that order
  • The Dutch built world cruiser Spada February 14, 2012
    A true and proven trans-ocean cruising yacht, Spada has a range of 8,000nm and was winner of an International Superyacht Design Award. She was launched in 1998 by the Dutch yard Hakvoort, to a design by De Vries Lentsch. Her interior is designed by Ken Freivokh, and offers accommodation up to 10 guests, and a crew of 7
