Astondoa unveils new AS8

With its upcoming launch, expected for the second half of 2020, the AS8, the largest new yacht in Astondoa’s Flybridge range is a true revolution in the line of cruiser yachts from the Spanish shipyard. The first two units of this model have already been purchased, building good momentum behind Astondoa’s newest and largest flybridge model.

The AS8 delivers sporty and contemporary design showcasing emphasis on functionality and innovative features. The Flybridge line combines the brand’s superyacht elegance and full customisation builds. The design craftwork and attention to detail for each owner make each Astondoa a one-off unique boat.

The finishings and choice of highest-quality materials used to make the 82-foot AS8 Flybridge set it out from the crowds, but above all is the sheer expanse of glass used across the hull and superstructure.

The AS8 is a tasteful yacht that emphasises relaxation and comfort on board. With a length of 25 metres and 6 metres in width, there is an expanse of space well utilised and laid out across 3 deck levels. The flybridge itself has ample space for 10 guests across the sunpads or L-shaped lounge area, all wrapped together with a bar area and the Flybridge helm position make entertaining perfect under the stylish bimini top.

The main deck features an avant-garde design, where the ample living room forms a single space with the kitchen and opens up to the spacious solarium with comfortable sofas and teak floors.

On the lower deck, you can find beds to accommodate up to 12 passengers, housed in four spacious cabins, including two possible configurations for the owner’s stateroom.  All the cabins have an en-suite bathroom, ample closet space and numerous storage spaces to make staying on board for longer periods of time easy and relaxing.

The AS8 has two crew cabins built into the stern quarters if required by the owner, additional layouts to support guests on board can be specified or completely deleted to make space for alternative customisation.

The AS8 comes standard with twin Man V12-1600 HP engines (1213 kw 2300 rpm). This power package offer top speed at 32 knots. There is also an option for twin Man V12-1900 HP (1397 kw 2300 rpm).
