Speaking of the brand’s planned expansion into Europe, Gulf Craft’s Chairman, Mohammed Alshaali comments: “The Oryx brand was launched in 2005 and marketed regionally in the Middle East. We’ve experienced fantastic success over the past few years with our range of sports cruisers.

ORYX 379

Following years of experience, we’re extremely proud to say that we have now reached the same level of quality as seen in the Majesty line of luxury motor yachts, and we’re ready to begin our international expansion. Oryx yachts are what we like to describe as the nautical equivalent of a sports car. As part of our plans to ensure our growing success, we’re ready to bring the all-new Oryx line-up to international markets.”

Drawing on Gulf Craft’s legacy of building luxury superyachts, the Oryx 379 is the first in the next generation of larger Oryx yachts designed specifically for the international market.

We’ve already had fantastic feedback from both new and repeat clients. We’re excited to debut the Oryx 379 as our first boat in the European market and are already in the design stages for the next model in the series at around 50 feet, set to be launched at Cannes 2020.”

ORYX 379

The Oryx 379 will be on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival from 10th – 15th of September. Following the Cannes show, the Oryx team will attend the Southampton Boat Show and Salone di Genova where the ORYX 379 will also be on display.

Oryx 379

The 379’s use of materials, meticulous fit and finish, is a testament to Middle Eastern expectation for quality. The next-generation 379 is a sublime day or weekend sports cruiser that oozes style. Oryx’s first step into international expansion looks extremely exciting albeit into a very competitive European market.
