The rise of Atlantis 45

On the back of the success of the Atlantis 51, Azimut is due to premier the widely acclaimed Atlantis 45 the successor to the Atlantis 43, a very popular sports cruiser that sold over 140 yachts in four years. The new 45 takes winning features from the 43 such as the Volvo IPS propulsion and takes successful design cues introduced by the Atlantis 51: the upper part of the stem rises vertically, partially stretching forward to boost the dynamics of a boat with a strong sporty character, while its hull windows stretch along the entire side, bringing out the sharpness of this yacht’s contours and its sporty look. Can the new 45 top the record held by the 43? Let’s take a closer look.

Stepping onboard and up to the helm, you immediately sense the 45’s excellent visibility when driving thanks to lightweight uprights and without a central upright (single windscreen). The Main Deck and the Flush Deck are without steps, the stern and bow sundecks are extremely generous in the size below deck.

Its spacious structure, given by the design will to maintain the kitchen and dinette one in front of the other, takes on the excellent features of the 43, it boasts two cabins: the owner’s cabin and a second one in the middle of the boat, with two beds that can be joined together, if required, to make a double bed. A third bed can also be added. And two bathrooms, both with separate shower cabins.

The rooms are very spacious and cosy, also due to a total width of 4.25 metres. The Atlantis 45 also has a huge storage capacity: almost 8,000 litres available for storing luggage, equipment and provisioning. It is a perfect boat to enter the Azimut range.

The Main Deck was conceived as a large lounge area, while the Lower Deck features three cabins and a dining area in the middle with a folding table.

In the engine room, two Volvo IPS 600 engines with an output of 435 hp each allow the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of about 28 knots. The 45 like all Azimut yachts has the piece of mind AQC program aligned to it which gives us a chance to highlight that for our readers.
