The Prestige 630 is instantly recognized by her well-balanced exterior design and contemporary lines. The 630 is a Garroni Premorel concept and a trusted Prestige partner, which through great design has ensured a thoughtful uninterrupted hull-side window layout, that floods the accommodation level with light, and provides a great sea view from each stateroom. So the WSB team took the chance to check out more on the new 630.
Outside, there are three distinct living areas, more than enough for some separation and privacy on longer cruises. Inside, you like the large open-plan saloon, with a galley aft and to port, and a lower helm forward and to starboard—it’s perfect for cruising when the weather is less than cooperative or comfortable.
Generous living spaces include the immense saloon, three cabins with private head and shower compartments, including a centre-line owner’s cabin, and the flybridge, for absolute comfort on board.
By choosing high-tech design solutions, which was constructed by infusion, and the selection of an IPS 950 pod transmission, the Prestige 630 is currently positioned at the cutting edge of Sports cruiser technology, however many of the competition also carry similar attributes.
Luxurious interior furnishings reveal a selection of materials, colour harmonies and a level of equipment often found upon large cruising yachts but that shouldn’t take away from the 630 the great thought that has gone into creating a perfect livable space fit for weekend cruising.
The hull is from J&J Design, with engineering by Prestige. It features a modestly raked stem that is deep enough to cut water at slower cruising speeds, but shallow enough to climb above the water at higher speeds. Three sets of lifting strakes join spray strakes that begin well forward above the waterline and morph into submerged chines just ahead of amidships, helping the Prestige 630 get on plane more quickly and effectively directing spray well away from the hull-sides.
