The fantastic Filippetti F93 arrives in style

The launch of the all new Filippetti F93 arrived to huge anticipation, born from the collaboration between Filippetti Yacht and the yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni. The F93 will complete a series of required sea tests before being delivered to an excited owner in North America. Partnered with Filippetti Yacht Americas, the F93 will be the first of two boats to hit North American Waters in the next 6 months. The Filippetti S55 is scheduled to launch in early 2017

The F93 Filippetti Yacht is a unique Flybridge model that combines a sporty spirit with luxurious spaces. Designed in collaboration with Fulvio De Simoni, this yacht inaugurates a new type of Flybridge, combining the spaciousness and comfort characteristics of its category with the more aggressive, modern design aspects typically associated with open yachts. The result – sleek, sporty, and elegant.

At Filippetti Yachts, we pride ourselves on delivering true personalized luxury. For this particular vessel, we have replaced the traditional Flybridge hardtop upon the owner’s request with a soft, retractable top to emphasize its sleek and sporty lines.

On the the right of the bridge lies the external pilothouse, and on the left is a large sundeck, sheltered from the wind and perfect for relaxing while cruising. At the aft of the F93 is a wide solarium area furnished with four chaises loungers, while at the center lies a spacious dining room with sofas and chairs surrounding a retractable table that opens and transforms into sunbeds. On the right behind the helm, there is a full wet bar with a refrigerator, freezer, icemaker and barbecue. At the owner’s request, Filippetti Yacht has also added a retractable davit crane for loading/unloading the owner’s toys.- totally hidden and integrated into the furniture when not in use.

The cockpit on the main deck is one of the most comfortable areas of the boat. Equipped with a large dining table, sofa chairs, and a retractable TV cabinet, the main deck is a perfect place for relaxing or entertaining. A comfortable white leather “L” shaped sofa welcomes guests and provides a clear view of a handcrafted cabinet with a retractable television, while further along the starboard is the bar area.

The uniquely designed bar unit features steel mirror bands alternating with strips of LED lights, surrounded by five white leather bar stools supplied the by the exclusive Milan furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau. The entire deck is brightly illuminated through the oversized side windows, emphasizing the volume of this generous space.

At the bow is the wheelhouse equipped with the finest in Simrad instruments and an electronic control point for the entire boat. The dashboard is particularly eye-catching, finished in black leather with contrasting white stitching on both the console and seats that further emphasize the sportiness of the vessel. The external portion of the bow houses a large sundeck, built for the pleasure of cruising, that features a table with a semi-circular sofa and a bimini top.

Access to the salon is through a retractable glass door merging the interior and exterior spaces. With this technology, Filippetti Yacht has created one large area extending from the wheelhouse to the cockpit offering a unique and multipurpose space. Upon entering the salon, one is immediately struck by the modern and sophisticated décor, featuring a mix of finishes in varying shades of gray, with lacquered wood and a special ordered Zebrawood with a striped effect that combines with the neutral tones of the white leather and repeated use of steel. The floor is oak parquet, while the light-toned ceiling is illuminated by bands of LED lights arranged in parallel designed by Cantalupi lighting. The interior space has been glazed in dark grey, a shade that emphasizes the yacht’s sporty character and contrasts with the white metallic hull.

Below the deck of the Filippetti F93 are four spacious and luxurious cabins, three of them with large queensize beds and one with two single beds, the master cabin is midship and the VIP cabin located at the bow. Access to the lower deck is through a stylish glass and steel staircase from the main deck behind the pilothouse seats.

The warm gray shades are continued through the cabins with striped Zebrawood for fixtures and furnishings, and white tone silk carpet and ceilings. The lighting provides an important decorative element, thanks to light beams also designed by Cantalupi lighting. The large windows, a hallmark of the Filippetti series allows natural light to fill the interior. The owner of this yacht chose to customize each cabin with subtle nuances through the use of beautiful colors of the fabrics and main furnishing elements – even the mosaic tiles of the showers incorporate different shades to match the accent colors in each cabin.

The crew area is accessed through an internal staircase on the main deck, designed for three people, it includes two cabins, two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen. The kitchen includes all Miele brand appliances, including a kitchen basin, American commercial sized refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and ceramic stovetop. The crew area also houses a laundry room outfitted with professional equipment and direct access to the engine room. The on-board garage houses a 4-meter tender and room for three jet skis.

Filippetti Yacht has given great attention to the technology on board. The dashboard is equipped with the latest Simrad instrumentation, while an integrated camera system ensures maximum visibility during mooring operations and helps facilitate maneuvers. In collaboration with Naviop, Filippetti has included advanced whole home automation controls designed to manage all the lights, audio/video equipment, and air conditioning from an iPad or Smartphone.

In all main areas of the boat are USB sockets to connect mobile devices to the latest generation audio/video systems, all supplied by Creston, an US brand that ensures high levels of comfort and quality. All switches are AVE Touch, a touch control system that hides the switch, button, and dimmer behind a crystal plaque, sensitive to the touch.

This Filippetti F93 is propelled by Arneson surface drives and 2,638 hp MTU engines, for lovers of speed and performance. On board, Filippetti Yacht has placed the innovative SEAKEEPER stabilization system. The Shipyard also offers a standard version with a shaft line and 1,948 hp MTU engines.

The Filippetti F93 is a fantastic addition to the fly-bridge range, slotting between the F78 and F98 perfectly. In this segment of the market customisation is the norm, and customers will expect the highest levels of service which will be second nature to Filippetti Yachts.
