No cargo needed in the new Key Largo 24 from Sessa Marine

One year after the launch of the Key Largo 34 IB and Key Largo 27 IB, Sessa Marine boosts its Open line, introducing the sterndrive version of the KEY LARGO 24. The squared-off bow together with the aggressive lines of the cockpit area, designed by Christian Grande, Sessa Marine Group designer for many years, remind those sophisticated and typical drawings of sportive cars. We at WSB see if its another model of the range about to become a benchmark in the market thanks to its elegant style and smart solutions.

“Another challenging mission has been accomplished with our new Key Largo 24 IB: we aimed to realize a compact product able to offer features and characteristics of bigger boats at the same time paying tremendously attention to its price position (starting from 42.000€ + TAX, free of registration, trailable.). “Thanks to our developed industrialization process, we have succeeded, in fact, in combining and optimizing the use of the highest level of materials and technologies , usually applied on larger boats, even on such a compact size” says Riccardo Radice, Sessa Marine Vice-President & Marketing Director.

The Key largo 24 IB’s deck has been carefully studied to offer a remarkable and tremendous space harmony, definitely innovative for a vessel of this size.

Some impressive solutions that need to be highlighted:

– The versatility of the cockpit. In few simply steps, the comfortable stern cockpit sofa can turn into a relaxing sunbathing area;

– The spacious bow area offering a huge sunpad together with chaise longue, glass holder and plenty of storage for fenders;

– The folding bimini top, designed to be practical, and friendly use, easily storage;

Lowerdeck, KL 24 IB offers a charming cabin with bar unit ready to accommodate 43l refrigerator, queen size bed and predisposition for flush wc. The outstanding use of space, for this new small but roomy open boat that within 7metres is able to offer high comfort level, quality and last but not least the possibility to be transported on a trailer.

The hull designed to support Volvo Penta 5-liter V8 engine 260-hp with duo prop stern drive propellers and steel counter, a lowered center of gravity, ensure the highest levels of performance and stability. The wide prow design improves the passage of water and the control of spray, allowing the boat to reach very high speed (maximum speed 40 knots).

An unusual prosperous standard equipment, not afraid of being compared to the one offered by bigger boats; this includes: hydraulic steering, 270 lt fuel tank, extendable shower with tank, and teak bathing platform. A selection of different colors of the hull, are available to offer the owner the possibility to customize his boat adding a touch of personality.
