The World Premier of the Princess 98 Motor Yacht took place at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show and was an immediate hit with potential customers and drove huge interest from the public. I went on board this yacht at the Southampton show and it was indeed truly superb. The interior materials were sumptuous, however the Fendi branding everywhere was perhaps a little OTT for some tastes, but that was how the client (Taiwanese, I believe) wanted it. Lamp shades, fabrics, even the carpet had the F logo cut into it all over. Dial the branding back by 30-50% and it would become less “showy” and way better for it. The exterior spaces were delightful, too, especially the foredeck seating/lounging area.
