Princess Yachts to unveil triplets at Southampton Boat Show

Princess Yachts International will unveil three new models at the PSP Southampton International Boat Show 2010. Making their world debut at the show will be the remodeled Princess 42 and the brand new Princess 64, whilst the stunning Princess V52 makes her first appearance at a UK show. Additionally, the 72 Motor Yacht which was launched earlier this year, will be making her first appearance at Southampton.

Princess 64

The new Princess 64 is a craft with a real sense of occasion. Her exceptional performance and sleek, sporty profile hide a supremely spacious four-cabin motor yacht rich with light, elegant detailing and unprecedented scope for entertaining.
The vast flybridge is a wonderfully relaxed setting whether underway or at anchor. A large teak table with generous U shaped seating provides the perfect space for alfresco dining while the well equipped wetbar, barbeque and wide sunbed ensure it is also a highly sociable entertaining space.

Aft of the cockpit the hydraulically controlled bathing platform can be raised or lowered for the effortless launching and recovery of a tender or jet ski.
Inside, the 64 is light and welcoming, aided by the large windows to both sides that fill the saloon with sunlight. The saloon layout incorporates a two-seater settee facing a generous U -shaped sofa, and a separate dining area forward, adjacent to the galley.

Below, four exquisitely appointed cabins accommodate 8 in total comfort whilst an optional en-suite aft cabin is available for crew or a further two occasional guests.

Princess 42

The 42 has become an iconic Princess model, setting the benchmark for fast motor yachts of her size. An ideal family cruiser, she combines confident sea-keeping with strong performance and class leading interior space for elegant entertaining.

The latest 42 adopts a lean and dynamic profile with wrap-around windscreen and larger, sleeker windows and portlights.

The spacious flybridge boasts generous U-shaped seating with an integrated sunbed aft, and a large folding teak table for alfresco dining.

Triple sliding glass doors link the cockpit and saloon, giving an exceptionally light and airy feel to the interior, accentuated by the huge wrap-around windows. Inside, the sense of space is enhanced by the contemporary, rectilinear furniture, comprising a U-shaped sofa and dining table and moveable 2-seater sofa which can be converted into an additional double bed for occasional guests.

A few steps down, the open galley is well-equipped with a choice of gas or electric hob while a large fridge-freezer and combination microwave oven are fitted as standard together with generous storage space. The lower accommodation comprises of an elegant master cabin and twin guest cabin, both en-suite with generously proportioned showers.

Beautifully constructed and immaculately finished, the new 42 is the very essence of a modern Princess motor yacht.

Princess V52

The arrival of the new V52 was a landmark event in the evolution of the Princess model range. The first V Class sports yacht of this size to be available with an enclosed deck saloon, broadening the reach of open boating to new destinations and for an extended boating season.

The sleek profile of the V52 confirms her positioning in the heart of the V Class range, with masses of dynamic ability and thoroughbred performance when married to her powerful twin engines. Forward thrust is delivered with precision control through custom-machined propellers with twin shafts driven through V-drive gearboxes. This configuration benefits the lower accommodation space without compromising her sophisticated ride and agile handling that have become definitive V Class characteristics.

The V52 is a two stateroom craft, with the owner’s suite located amidships and enjoying the full beam, with a full sized double stateroom forward with generous storage and en-suite bathroom, which itself accommodates a full stall shower. As an alternative a three cabin option is also available with a generous twin cabin replacing the lower saloon.

In the V52 the latest in sports yacht technology combine with Princess’ characteristic deep-V hull for the ultimate combination of assured seakeeping and manoeuvrability to inspire confidence for the most relaxed and enjoyable boating experiences.

72 Motor Yacht

The 72 Motor Yacht is potent, spacious and luxurious. She promises a breathtaking cruising experience whether simply enjoying a day out on the water or making the most of her long range capabilities.

She displays all the characteristics that define a Princess; the deep V hull, resin infused for weight-reducing efficiency, raised bulwarks and clean flowing lines that epitomize her elegant styling.
