Princess Yachts International plc are set for another exciting year in 2010 as along side their new boat launches they reveal the first images of the new M Class yachts.

Beautifully detailed, scale models of both the 32M and the 40M yachts where publically revealed for the first time at the London International Boat Show together with the very first images of both models – an unveiling that has been eagerly awaited since the Company announced plans to move into the 100 feet plus category last Spring.

The M Class yachts will be built at the recently acquired South Yard facility, just a short distance along the waterfront from the Princess Head Quarters where production of the very first vessel, the 32M, is already well underway.  Her vast, resin infused hull was completed in early December and floated ceremoniously across to the new Shipyard from Newport Street and now the fit out of the largest Princess to date has begun – her completion scheduled for later in 2010.

Whilst the hull was in the moulding shop, the M Class design team has been inside the huge South Yard facility constructing a complete, full-size and detailed mock-up of the yacht’s interior which has been used to trial many different design, finishes and detailing ideas for what will be the most sumptuous Princess interior yet.

It’s an indication of the sheer size of the Princess South Yard facility that the 32M hull easily fits alongside this life-size mock-up and in February, the Princess 95 Motor Yacht production team will also move to the South Yard facility, where they will build 95 Motor Yachts, two at a time, alongside the 32M.

These impressive new craft will be unmistakably Princess in terms of design and performance, while offering exceptional levels of personalisation so each will be truly individual. Extremely spacious, the 32M provides accommodation for up to 10 guests and can be configured with either three of four en-suite staterooms for guests in addition to the owners suite which takes pride of place on the main deck.

The 40M, a long-range Tri-deck cruising yacht, is scheduled for launch late in 2011 and she offers an unprecedented level of luxury and personalisation.  Eminently capable of accommodating 12 guests she also provides separate accommodation for up to 8 crew to ensure complete privacy.   The owner is accommodated in a magnificent suite on the main deck while throughout the yacht there is an incredible amount of scope for personalisation ensuring she is a very worthy flagship for the Princess fleet.
