The first of a distinctive new generation combining the very latest in innovation and technology, the new 28 Metre Yacht has made its world debut at the 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. This new design launches the next generation of the ‘Sunseeker’ Yacht look. The element most captivating is the remarkable extent of main deck glazing. Unusually full height and pillarless, the glazing flows continuously down the sides and around the rear of the saloon, merging with the aft patio doors. This new wrap around glazing gives the main deck accommodation a unique uninterrupted floor to ceiling panoramic view and an extraordinarily bright interior, bringing the outside in.

Another grand entrance from two new models from Grand Banks the 46 Eastbay FB and 76 Aleutian RP

Grand Banks Yachts have unveiled two new models: the 46 Eastbay FB, a flybridge version of its Zeus-powered Down East cruiser, and the 76 Aleutian RP, set to be the largest and most luxurious motor yacht in the company’s growing lineup. The 76RP features the same proven Tom Fexas hull design and timeless exterior styling shared by other yachts in the raised-pilothouse Aleutian Series. But this newest model also introduces a brand new interior design that is more contemporary and European in flavor than any of its predecessors.

Its out of the mould and castaway for the new Mulder 98 Flybridge

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands has started construction of the new Mulder 98 Flybridge, the contracts for which were signed earlier this year. The yacht has been designed by Guido de Groot with Jaron Ginton in charge of the naval architecture. The Mulder 98 Flybridge is being built for a client from Russia, and will be delivered in the second quarter of 2013.

At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Cheoy Lee Yachts unveiled the Alpha, its most advanced production yacht, which is fully-equipped with the latest design features including SPD-SmartGlass supplied by Research Frontiers licensee Diamond Sea Glaze. When Research Frontiers’ patented SPD-Smart light-control technology is used in yacht windows and other products, users can instantly and precisely control or “tune” the amount of light, glare and heat coming through their windows, while preserving their view. Use of SPD-SmartGlass also enhances security and privacy.

The Ferrari 458 vs. the new Ferretti 870 in the ultimate show down
