The Beneteau Sport Cruisers have been developed to take full advantage of life in the open air, Beneteau have worked on improving comfort outside in these new versions for 2013. On all the Gran Turismos, Beneteau have added an electric barbecue (on option) in the port side corner of the aft platform. Following the tremendous buzz created at the Monaco show by having ‘Albert Einstein’ unveil its latest Future Concept – designed with the genius scientist’s imagined requirements in mind – Feadship is taking the entire Relativity package to the Fort Lauderdale boat show (25-29 October). This will include the detailed model of the boat as well as the actor-turned-Feadship-expert who proved in Monaco that imagination and knowledge do indeed go hand in hand.

Ferretti Custom Line, Ferretti Group brand operating within the production of fibreglass maxi-yachts measuring 26 to 38 metres, announces the launching of the Custom Line 112’ Next, a 34 metre vessel in the planing category and the twenty-eighth model of the 112 inch models. The launching ceremony, strictly organized in private, was held at the shipyard of the Group in Ancona with a traditional baptism during which a bottle of champagne was shattered on the keel: 21st March, a special day for the launching of the maxi yacht, marks the official opening of the 2012 boating season.

Grand Banks Yachts have unveiled two new models: the 46 Eastbay FB, a flybridge version of its Zeus-powered Down East cruiser, and the 76 Aleutian RP, set to be the largest and most luxurious motor yacht in the company’s growing lineup. The 76RP features the same proven Tom Fexas hull design and timeless exterior styling shared by other yachts in the raised-pilothouse Aleutian Series. But this newest model also introduces a brand new interior design that is more contemporary and European in flavor than any of its predecessors.

Model, heiress and broadcaster Tamara Ecclestone will officially open the 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show at ExCeL London on Friday, 6 January.
